CHOCO-PB Smoothie

Here is a super delish Smoothie….Great for Pre-Run!

Choco-PB Soothie

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein (your choice, I use plant based but whey is fine if you have it)
  • 1 Tablespoon Natural Peanut Butter
  • 1 small Banana
  • 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon cacao nibs
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Cashew Milk (or any non-dairy milk)
  • Ice

Blend until smooth

Cacao Nibs are great for pre workout…….

“Cacao Nibs contain a constituent known as “theobromine,” an alkaloid structurally similar to that of caffeine, that occurs in greater quantities in cacao and that acts as a stimulant and promotes strength, endurance, and enhanced mood.”

10k run and Domesticated S*&^…..and some WIAW

I worked 6-6 the last two days so was definitely happy to have today and tomorrow off work! Slept in until 730 am this morning!


Yep…..True story…..

I was excited to get up and have coffee and catch up on some blog reading! While I read blogs and watched Michael and Kelly I had a delicious Smoothie Bowl!


I really love these things, have been eating them for years and I never get tired of them!

Cleanse Over…..Longest 2 days ever…..

Sometime I come up with these ideas that I immediately regret. But then I am too stupid stubborn to admit it and follow through even though I am kicking myself the whole time……Well this was one of these ideas folks…….


I was feeling a bit sluggish and bloated so I just said screw it and decided to do the Isagenix 2 Day cleanse



I didn’t even post last night because I was absolutely miserable……I have never done a fast before…..EVER……and now I know why……..

I managed to get through it….mostly by constantly complaining, during the day, to anyone at work that would listen and to Shane in the evenings……I have no doubt that I drove everyone completely nuts……My problem was definitely EVERYONES problem!!!!


Sorry about that……….

I did take some before and after pictures, just to see if there would actually be a difference or if it is all in my head……I did end up loosing exactly 5 Lbs, but I can see a bit of a difference. I really do feel less bloated today and just better all around!

The best meals come in bowls!

I made my first thing in the ninja. A delicious smoothie bowl. The actual smoothie bowl was Coconut Almond Milk, Xanthium Gum, Organic Cocoa (From our Dominican Vacation) Spinach, Ice, Protein Powder, Greek Yogurt and PB2.   img_2703 But it was the Toppings that were the real star of the show! IMG_2705 Dried Cherries, Granola, Toasted Shaved Coconut, Macha Power, Chia, Hemp, Flax and Cocoa Nibs……I could eat this EVERY DAY. It was a great pre workout meal and definitely made me sail through my 10 k run with tons of energy! IMG_2710 These Buckwheat Soba noodles were the inspiration for supper. I love soba noodles. I just kinda threw in a bunch of my favorite things…..including, Onions, Garlic, Ginger, Bamboo Shoots, Curry Power and Some Curry Paste, Coconut Milk, Chicken and Tofu and came up with……… IMG_2708 This Bowl of AMAZING….Topped it with Green Onions and a squeeze of Lime……..
