Just wait another month…..NBD

We were hoping February would be our month…..Finally….We have been waiting since our cancelled cycle in December but alas it wasn’t meant to be this month……again

Dr. S (our RE) was dead set he wanted me to do  a HSG Test (he wanted to make sure there was no fluid leaking from my tubes as this could have caused my December miscarriage) and since you can’t do this test in the same cycle as a FET our hands were tied…..and so we wait.

National Peace Officer Memorial Run-Day 3

Day 1 and Day 2 of the National Peace Officer Memorial Run had went off without a hitch and all my self doubt was pretty much gone! This was no where near as hard as I thought it was going to be……

I think I thought I would be hiding in a ditch somewhere by the end of the first day! But the positive and supportive atmosphere carried me through all my runs thus far!!!

When I woke up Day 3 my quads were SCREAMING at me!

National Peace Officer Memorial Run-Day 2

After Day 1-running 40KM, I thought I would be sore on the morning of Day 2, but I woke up feeling great and excited to run! I was the most excited about this day of running because I would be running through areas that I grew up in. Plus my Mom would be joining me for a couple KM through Kingston!

My only “issue” would appear to be not drinking enough on Day 1 + Taking salt pills= One puffy face!

The straw that made me get a Camelbak!

One of the biggest challenges I have always had with my long runs is carrying enough water/liquid……I used to wear a hydration belt but I HATED it!

Soooooo annoying……So I found this hand held stainless steel water bottle from lulu lemon a couple years ago and have been using it ever since but,  It only holds about 600ML of liquid…..

Friday was a rest day but I needed to do 5KM both Saturday and Sunday……Kinda hard at work on the weekends to get out and do that……
