Mayweather won the pillow fight and we ate a lot of chicken

Yesterday was just a perfect day all around. I was up early and started to prep all my food for the night

I headed out for what was supposed to be a 10km run. It took forever for my mussels to warm up. My hamstrings have been tight lately.

Never let a man touch your Cupcakes

In case you don’t remember or somehow missed my post from the other day…………

I will now only be referring to this as “the incident”  Basically while Shane was loading 5 dozen Cupcakes into my car 1 dozen of these cuties

Turned into this…….

When I saw this, the first thought to go through my mind was this

But I quickly realized a couple things

  1. Shane out weights me by almost 70lbs
  2. I am weak and a terrible fighter
  3. This is assault

Damn….ok plan B

Step one Take off all the candies and wrappers
Mush up ( I wore gloves)
Roll into balls, put in sticks and firm up in the freezer
Melt some white chocolate

Dip in the chocolate and decorate with whatever sprinkles you want. Once set I wrapped them up and made a little display for them…..

Now to not eat 20 Cake Pops before tomorrow!

Power Balls

I usually call these Power Balls but I have seen them referred to as Energy Bites. Either way they are delicious and pack a great energy Punch. These are a great pre workout snack, coming in around 100 Calorie each.

Balls of goodness!

This recipe makes 24 golf ball size balls!

  • 500 G dates (soaked until nice and soft)
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup ground oats
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter (melted)
  • ½  Dark chocolate chips
  • 4 TBSP ground flax
  • 4 TBSP ground chia
  • 4 TBSP hemp hearts

Process soft dates in food processor until smooth, add to all other ingredients and mix well.

I keep disposable gloves in my kitchen and I always mix these by hands.

Roll into balls and keep in freezer.

8= times I said balls in this post…….
