After finishing up the 2 Day Cleanse yesterday I felt great! Tons of energy after my coffee and breakfast! I decided I would get some things done during the day around the house and then go do some errands….Before going to a Body Pump class at the gym at 4:30. I figured I would just run home afterwards (only 5 km).
Sometime I come up with these ideas that I immediately regret. But then I am too stupid stubborn to admit it and follow through even though I am kicking myself the whole time……Well this was one of these ideas folks…….
I was feeling a bit sluggish and bloated so I just said screw it and decided to do the Isagenix 2 Day cleanse
I didn’t even post last night because I was absolutely miserable……I have never done a fast before…..EVER……and now I know why……..
I managed to get through it….mostly by constantly complaining, during the day, to anyone at work that would listen and to Shane in the evenings……I have no doubt that I drove everyone completely nuts……My problem was definitely EVERYONES problem!!!!
Sorry about that……….
I did take some before and after pictures, just to see if there would actually be a difference or if it is all in my head……I did end up loosing exactly 5 Lbs, but I can see a bit of a difference. I really do feel less bloated today and just better all around!
Well with Spring in the air and Summer peaking over the horizon, it made me start to think about those beach days of July and August…….Along with Beach days come fun, friends, sand and bathing suits……….oh Shit….BATHING SUITS…….
Time to own up to the Winter weight and deal with it. Besides wanting to fit into my Summer clothes, if I have any intention of doing well on the upcoming runs I need to get these 10 lbs off. Ugh….
I am not really one for patience. Actually I have about zero for a lot of things and dieting is one of them. I love food….period! And I am not saying that in the way most people half heartily spit that out…..
I LOVE THIS WEATHER! It has been so nice for the past few days and it just makes me want to be outside all the time. I was able to beg convince my friend Julie to go for a trail run with me after work today!
I got home from work and grabbed a quick snack because I knew we weren’t running until 5pm so I couldn’t hold out that long!
Been craving this stuff so I finally had a small bowl with some almond milk! My favorite pre run treat! Then I was off to get my nails done before meeting Julie at her Mothers house. Julies mom said she would watch the little one (Julie’s son) so we could go running!

This is a great deal though! It is only available to United States residents unfortunately. I am working on getting promo codes for other countries but haven’t been able to get this in place yet!
Reebok is offering up to 50% off all Men’s and Woman’s Jackets and hoodies! I wish I could get this deal but it isn’t offered in Canada. They have a lot of great looking gear for spring! So if you are living in the land of the free and the home of the brave you should take advantage of this great deal!
Holy F Bomb windy again……I don’t know what is going on around here but I don’t like it! It finally stopped raining so I got out ASAP for my run as it looked like it might start pouring again any minute.
Since my food tends to be the same most days I don’t want to bore you to tears posting the same food every week……
I thought posting pictures of new or actually interesting dishes would be a better way to go about this…. Just go with it….mmmm…..k?
I was in the Bulk Barn the other day, well two Bulk Barns actually……. I managed to get kicked out of the first one and had to go to another one that was out of my way. (Don’t ask) I was picking up White Chocolate and Sprinkles for the cake pops but somehow managed to come out with tons of spices and a bunch of other things. I picked up a pulled pork spice (probably full of salt but whatever it smelled great!) I thought it would be good for a pulled Chicken.
I chopped up some onions and garlic, and threw them in the slow cooker with some of my home made Tomato sauce preserves (from last year) the pulled pork spice a dehydrated pepper and let it cook away.
Once it was cooked I took out the chicken and shredded it with two forks and threw it back in until all the liquid cooked down.
Yum…..Served with Grilled Broccoli for a work dinner this week.
